Gale Robinson

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at West Hickman  (Ky.) Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kim Traylor and Elder Curtis McLendon officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Thomas Chapel CME Church in Hickman Friday from 5-8 p.m. Rawls Funeral Home in Union City is in charge of arrangements.
Arminthia Gale (Cobb) Robinson was born Feb. 8, 1961, to Robert and Dorothy Cobb in Paducah, Ky. Both preceded her in death. She was raised by her grandparents, Cora and Sanford Turner, in Hickman.
She was a member of Thomas Chapel CME Church, where she served as an usher and was a member of several other committees. She graduated from Fulton County High School and went on to earn her associates degree as a medical technician. She was an employee of Walmart and a former employee of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City and the former Golden Corral.
She was married to Dallas Robinson Aug. 30, 1986.
Gale was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and her brother, Ronald Cobb.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Dallas Robinson of Union City; her daughter, Zaria Robinson of Union City; her siblings, and their spouses, Sandra Bumpous of Louisville, Ky., Denise Cobb of St. Paul, Minn., Robert Cobb of Fulton, Dr. Carole Cobb of Los Angeles and Valerie and Bill Minor of South Fulton; a host of special nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives; friends; and Walmart colleagues.

    This saddens me greatly. I always loved being around Gale & Dallas, although I haven’t seen them in decades. She had the most beautiful smile God had ever created. My heart hurts for Dallas.
