Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tim Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Greene, Richard Davidson, Eddie McKinney, Skipper White, Jim Harris and Benjamin White.
The family requests that memorials be made to Union City First United Methodist Church at 420 East Main St., Union City, TN 38261.
She was born July 25, 1935, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Morris Taylor Ranson and the late Ann (Curtis) Ranson Semones. She married Robert Kirkland Cherry Dec. 27, 1955. He died Jan. 23, 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of Union City First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and David Prather of Reelfoot Lake; her son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Debbie Cherry of Ripley; three grandchildren and their spouses, Robert and Lauren Cherry of Purcell, Okla., Ginna and Daniel Houston of Oxford, Miss., and Emily and Tyler Underwood of Obion; three great-grandsons, Jax Underwood and Bryson Underwood, both of Obion, and Ranson Houston of Oxford; and her brother, Jim Ranson of Corinth, Miss.
