Shirley Crowell

Completed arrangements are being announced for Shirley Ruth (Hensley) Crowell, 80, of Union City, who died Nov. 10, 2015, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery near Rives.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Jason Crowell, Gary Mack Johnson, Chad Phipps, Lee Taylor, Gavyn Ogden, Austin Farmer, Chandler Galloway and Isaac Phipps.
The family requests memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
She was born Aug. 18, 1935, in Waverly. She was the daughter of the late Guy Hensley and Thelma Louise (Storey) Hensley Bell and stepdaughter of the late Woodrow Bell. She married Ike Crowell May 27, 1952. He died March 14, 2002. She was a housewife and a member of Mount Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two daughters and her son-in-law, Doretha Scronce and Tracey and Kenneth Tanner, all of Union City; her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lucy Crowell of Union City; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters and her brother-in-law, Beth McCain of Rosemark and Kay and Tim Johns of Kenton.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Hensley and Jimmy Hensley.
