William Vickers

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Tom McWilliams officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope or the charity of the donor’s choice.
He was born March 18, 1950, in Hardeman County, son of the late Jimmie Curtis and Vernice (Taylor) Vickers. He married the former Jennifer Mundahl April 13, 1971. He had been employed at the former Kohler Co. and was an active member of Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars and of the Masonic Lodge in the Crystal community. He attended Faith Lutheran Church in Union City and was an instructor for the TWRA hunter safety course for more than 30 years. He was also a member of the Reelfoot Bank barbecue cooking team.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Vickers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Noel and Laura Vickers of Union City and Dustin and Sherry Vickers of Trenton; three grandchildren, Daniel Vickers and Kristen Vickers, both of Union City, and Madilyn Vickers of Trenton; his brother, Glenn Vickers of Tiptonville; his sister, Edith Eavenson of Springville; and several nieces and nephews.
