Joyce Gibson Sublett

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to local school libraries.
She was born Sept. 27, 1939, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Jewell Gibson and the late Lillie Mae (Miller) Dunn. She had been employed at Republic Doors in McKenzie and also owned an upholstering business for several years.
She is survived by her husband, David Sublett Sr.; her daughter, Anne Sublett of Nashville; two sons and her daughter-in-law, David Sublett Jr. and Betty Sublett of Huntingdon and Scott Sublett of Nashville; five grandchildren, Lauren Sublett and Jennifer Sublett, both of Cedar Grove, Emily Sublett of McKenzie, Tyler Sublett of Lavergne and Eddie Tucker of Lexington; her great-granddaughter, Abbi Tucker of Lexington; two brothers, George Gibson of Union City and Howard Gibson of Lancaster, Ohio; and her sister, Donna Dunn of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Gibson.
