Robert Michel

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Samburg Assembly of God. Brother George Hutchison will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Corydon, Ind.
Visitation will be held at Samburg Assembly of God from noon until the hour of services Saturday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Michel was born June 30, 1937, in Bucks County, Pa., son of the late Herman and Margaretta (Wiggins) Michel. He married the former Marilyn Morrison Jan. 26, 1962. She died Aug. 13, 2005. Mr. Michel had been employed by U.S. Steel, Corning Glass Works and United Catalyst Inc. He was a member of Samburg Assembly of God and served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two daughters, Sherilyn Walker of Louisville, Ky., and Michelle Michel of Corydon; his son, Robert Daryl Michel of Corydon; two sisters, Carol Prokop of Jonestown, Pa., and Elaine Cameron of Frostburg, Md.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
