Dorothy Woody

Dorothy Marie Woody, 94, of Casper, Wyo., formerly of Obion County, died at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transition Facility in Casper June 16, 2013.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Roger Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
She was born July 29, 1918, in Obion County, daughter of the late William Herman “W.H.” and Cora Ann (Peevyhouse) Albritton. She married William Morris Woody April 10, 1938. He died Dec. 10, 1970. She had been the manager of the cafeteria at Obion County Central High School until her retirement and was a member of Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Marie Wells of Salem, Ark., Brenda and Chris Cothran of Georgetown, Texas., and Kay and Alan Boehms of Casper; her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Sandra Woody of Troy; five grandchildren and the spouse of one, Robert and Dora Woody of Troy, Sherry Eason of Sevierville, Brian Cothron of Georgetown, Lanny Taylor of Carnation, Wash., and Woody Taylor of Casper; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Ann Ashley of Dyersburg; and her brother, Leroy Albritton of Memphis.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Wilma Milligan, Audrey Embrey and Robbie Glisson; and her brother, Grady Albritton.
