Larry Sherron
James Larry Sherron, 70, of Obion passed away 1:38 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Troy Craft will officiate. Burial will follow in Elbridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Larry was born Sept. 17, 1955, in Chicago, Ill., son of the late James Henry and Evelyn Maybell (Cunningham) Sherron. He married Donna Kay (Works) Sherron April 28, 1980. She preceded him in death Oct. 8, 2021. Larry had been employed at the former Salant & Salant in Obion and was a painter. He was a former member of the Obion Volunteer Fire Department. Larry enjoyed attending and participating in car shows and was a active member of the American Legion in Martin.
He is survived three daughters, Autumn Sherron of Union City, Allison Cruce of Jackson and Andrea Young and husband, Justin, of Fulton; son, James Austin Sherron of Obion; one sister, Shirley Hepler and husband, Keith; brother, Kenneth Sherron and wife, Rhonda, all of Obion; seven grandchildren, Gage Morgan, Grace Wray, Lucas Morgan, Eli Morgan, Ryan Young, Audie Sherron and Cannon Young; four sisters-in-laws and their spouses; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
