QuickBooks class offered at UTM

A beginner’s course in QuickBooks, an accounting software for small businesses, will be taught from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 17 at the University of Tennessee at Martin REED Center.
Participants will learn how to set up their small business with the QuickBooks program. Participants will also learn how to define and understand basic accounting terms, work with bank accounts and record sales, bills and vendor charges.
Computers with the QuickBooks software will be provided.
The class is limited to the first 10 participants.
The course is sponsored by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at the UTM REED Center, which is located at 406 South Lindell St. in Martin.
Registration for the course is $75 and must be paid at the time of registration.
