Ms. Jeffrey to wed Brooks on June 29

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Shawna Jeffrey and Nick Brooks, both of Garland, Texas, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Deniese Sims of Garland and William Jeffrey of Fulton.
She is employed at Sanford Brown College in Dallas as a clinical coordinator for the surgical technology program.
The groom-elect is the son of Robert and Libbye Hayes of Union City and the late Danny Brooks. He is the grandson of Henry Hicks of Rives. He is employed at Creative Tattoo in Garland as a tattoo artist.
The couple are the parents of Garrett Brooks of Louisville, Ky., and Chelsea Brooks, Cassandra Crittendon and Gabriel Nicole Dalton, all of Garland.
The couple will wed June 29 at 5 p.m. at the home of the groom-elect’s parents, located at 5694 Section Line Road, Union City. Mike “Mountain Man” Kyper will preside.
A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
No invitations will be sent.
