POULTRY WINNERS

POULTRY WINNERS — Tyson Foods in Union City sponsored the annual poultry show at the Obion County Fair last week. Lane Clouse (third from right) won Grand Champion and Finlee Sanford (continuing fourth from right) won Reserve Champion. Rounding out the top five were third place Sawyer Finch, fourth place Caldwell Lucas and fifth place Megan Bailey. Tyson Foods was represented by Jennifer McWherter (second from left), Damon Kuntz (third from left), Keith Riley (second from right) and Slade Murray (right). Judging the competition was Dr. Kevin Downs. There were a total of 140 participants, 80 contributors and $85,015 raised during the auction. Miss Clouse received $1,225 for her Grand Champion chicken, while Miss Sanford got $2,025 for her Reserve Champion. Finch got $800 for his third-place chicken, while Lucas got $925 for his fourth-place entry and Miss Bailey received $1,025 for her fifth-place finish.
