GRAND CHAMPION STEER

GRAND CHAMPION STEER — The annual Junior Market Livestock Sale was held last week at the Obion County Fair, with Caroline Huebner (far right) showing the Grand Champion steer. Her banner was held by her brother, Cole Huebner. Her 1,411.35-pound animal sold for $7.50 per pound or $10,585.13 to Cole & Short, McGuire Flying Services, David Williams Farm, Republic Services, McKinnis Construction, Ervin Feed & Grain and Bunch Electric. The buyers were represented by (from left) Jeremy Barnes with children Max Barnes and Mary Katherine Barnes, Trey Bunch, Dalton McGuire, Dave Bragg, Mary Alex Barnes with children Miles Barnes (hidden) and Margo Barnes, Joel McKinnis, Drake McGuire, Adam McGuire, Greg Ervin and Lucas Wilds. She is the daughter of (not pictured) Karl and Natalie Huebner.
