PUCKETT HONORED
PUCKETT HONORED — Longtime Obion County commissioner Ralph Puckett (center) of South Fulton, who served 60 years on the county legislative body and 30 of those as chairman, was honored at his final Obion County Commission meeting Monday morning when his peers unanimously voted to name the meeting room in his honor. He was joined afterward by commissioner Kenneth Barnes (left), who made the motion for the naming of the Honorable Ralph Puckett Meeting Room, and Obion County Mayor Steve Carr. A longtime commissioner from District 1, Puckett did not seek re-election in the Aug. 6 county general election.
