Charlotte Gray
Mrs. Charlotte Ann Gray, 78, of Union City passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray and Pastor Robin Rotgers will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Gaven Hollandsworth, Austen Tidwell, Andrew Tidwell, Ryan Harlan, Kevin Cates and Chris Cates.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the hour of services Saturday.
Charlotte was born July 13, 1948, in Union City, daughter of the late Roy Hillard Cates Sr. and Annie Aletha (Church) Cates. She married Jerry Dell Gray March 16, 1979. He preceded her in death April 12, 2026. Charlotte retired as a office clerk with Collection Management Services in Union City. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, baking and participating in Civil War reenactments with her husband.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Tidwell and husband, Steve, of Obion; her brother, Roy Cates and wife, Bobbye, of Martin; four grandchildren, Gaven Hollandsworth of Paris, Amber Harlan and husband, Ryan, of Pleasant View, Andrew Tidwell and wife, Asia, of Charlotte and Austen Tidwell, who is serving in the United States Air Force and stationed at Scotts Air Force Base, Ill.; and six great-grandchildren, Ella Hollandsworth and Peyton Hollandsworth, both of Paris, Emmie Harlan and Ben Harlan, both of Pleasant View, and Ariston Tidwell and August Tidwell, both of Charlotte.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Joey Northam.
