Judy Stone
Julia Marie “Judy” Stone went home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 14, 2026.
Judy was born Sept. 28, 1943, in Hogansville, Ga., the youngest of nine children born to Allen and Claudia Elder Stone. She was a life-long Baptist.
She is survived by three daughters, Melissa Needham (Jim) of Rives, Tracy Alford (Mike) of Union City and Amie Webber (Kenneth) of Union City; six grandchildren to whom she was affectionately know as Memaw, Zach Webber of Savannah, Lauren Webber of Union City, Juleigh Cranford of Clarksville, Ginger Joslin of Madison, Ala., Jennifer Jackson of Perdido Key, Fla., and Kerri Gallimore of Union City; 10 great-grandchildren, Keagan and Kenyon Webber, both of Union City, Amiyah Flowers, Kade Cranford and Kaliyah Garret of Clarksville, Karli Corker of Meridianville, Ala., Cannon Joslin of Clarksville and Kaden, Kara and Knox Gallimore, all of Union City; one great-great-granddaughter, A.J. Corker of Meridianville, Ala.; two sisters, Tiny McCrary of Columbus, Ga., and Ann Denney of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Claudia Stone; her siblings, Virginia Daughtry, Allen Stone Jr., Ellabea Hooten, Donald Stone, Merle Craven and Jean Hay, all from the state of Georgia; and one great-granddaughter, Grace Russell of Nashville.
Judy was born with a servant’s heart. She loved her family and friends fiercely. Throughout her life, she was the family caregiver, cleaning machine, taxi, psychologist, pastor, referee, cheerleader and chief cook and bottle washer and so much more, she was our Memaw. This loss leaves a huge hole in all our hearts. The only comfort we have is knowing she is in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, where she is fully healed from all pain and suffering.
Per Judy’s request there will be no service. White-Ranson Funeral Home will be in charge of cremation arrangements.
