PROTECT & ‘SERVE’ — Union City Police Department patrol officer Hunter Craddock worked the drive-thru at McDonald’s in Union City at midday Thursday, handing food orders to customers during a Burger Bash fundraiser to benefit the Shop With a Cop program. A percentage of the profits from the two-hour lunch rush was donated to the program, which helps local kids in need at Christmas. A total of $2,200 was raised both from food sales and from donations to police and support staff who were stationed inside the restaurant or outside in the drive-thru lanes.
