Susan Beecham
Mrs. Susan Beecham of Weakley County passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, at the West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin.
Susan was born on Nov. 3, 1961, in Groton, Maine, to the late Wintfred Smith and Linda Durham Smith.
Susan was a member of Martin Church of Christ and graduated from Westview High School in Martin. Susan was employed at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City as an Admissions Representative for 37 years. She was always known for her active involvement in hospital outreach activities, as well as employee events and programs. Susan said that her time spent in the Administration Department at Baptist Hospital in Union City was some of the best years of her life, and she had intended to serve as a “Pink Lady” upon her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Tony Beecham, of 26 years; one daughter, Haley Smith of Murfreesboro; three sisters, Valerie (Ron) Peery of Mountain View, Ark., Carol (Jimmy) Welch of Memphis and Kelly (Muhammad) Soliman of Nashville.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Mrs. Susan Beecham will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, 302 Carr St. in Fulton.

Murphy Funeral Home in Martin is in charge of arrangements; however, Mrs. Beecham’s visitation will be held at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton.
