Ronald Bloebaum

Mr. Ronald Omar Bloebaum, 84, a resident of Union City, died March 6, 2025 at The Etheridge House.
Services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2025, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Shock will officiate.
Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo., at a later date.
The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bloebaum was born on Sept. 25, 1940, in Saint Charles, Mo., to the late Omar Edward and Helen Marguerite (Coose) Bloebaum. He received his Bachelors Degree at Northeast Missouri State, and was in the Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity. He worked with Wilson Sporting Goods after college and the went to work for the family business managing Roth’s Department Stores relocating them to Union City. After closing their department store, he worked as a Health Services Administrator for the Northwest Correctional Facility. On July 2, 1967, he married Carolyn Cannon. She survives. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.
He was a member of First Methodist Church in Union City.
The family requests memorials be sent to: Parkinsons Foundation or First Methodist Church in Union City.
He is also survived by a daughter, Leigh Schlager; son, Bryan Bloebaum; two granddaughters, Sarah Schlager and Kate Schlager; and a grandson, Brad Schlager.
He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, David Schlager; and his brother, John Bloebaum.
