Darrell Brock
Darrell Ray Brock, age 68, of Union City passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, at his residence.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. Dan Huggins officiating. Burial followed in East View Cemetery.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.
Chad Lamb, Pryor Lamb, J.D. Sanders, David Sanders, Jeff Johnson and Kenneth Prince served as pallbearers.
Mr. Brock was born in Fulton on July 23, 1956, to the late Raymond Brock and the late Mary “Liz” Rice Brock. He married Mrs. Celeste Cary Brock on Dec. 17, 1978. She preceded him in death on July 5, 2019. He worked as an electrician for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company until his retirement and was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church. Mr. Brock was a member of Phi Sig Fraternity at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He loved fishing as much as he could and also loved the time he got to spend with his grandchildren.
He is survived by two daughters, Cary Speed of Paducah, Ky., and Alyssa Brock Sanders of Union City; and two grandchildren, Reagan Speed and Miles Sanders.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Carl Perkins Center for Weakley County and Obion County.
