Christine Thorpe

Mrs. Christine Marie Thorpe, age 61, of Martin, TN, died Monday, 12/30/2024, at her home. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Murphy Funeral home is in charge of cremation arrangements. Mrs. Thorpe was of the Catholic faith; she was retired C.N.A. at Haw’s Nursing Home. She is survived by her children, Ashley Marie Avent of Martin and Joshua Christopher Thorpe of Indiana; three grandchildren, Nicholas Emmanuel Avent, Nyla Marie Avent and Dustin Allen Glisson; her father, Phillip Joseph Russell of Martin; sisters, Abigail Suzanne Irvan of South Fulton and Megan Jo Rogers of Murfreesboro; and brothers, Phillip Eric Russell of Martin, Patrick Erin Russell of Smyrna and Joseph Dominic Rogers of Fulton, Kentucky. Mrs. Thorpe was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Daniel Thorpe; and her mother, Donna Kannall Russell.
