Jenny Courtright
Jenny Kay Courtright, age 68, of Union City passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Vanderbilt Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Rev. Dan Tilley officiating. Burial followed in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation was Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Kevin and Layton Courtright, Zeke Hall, Sam Turner and Ken Garrigan. Joe Clem served as an honorary pallbearer.
Mrs. Courtright was born in Martin on Aug. 28, 1955, to the late Claude Yarbrough Jr. and the late Virginia Clem Yarbrough. She married Mr. Ken Courtright on March 1, 1974. She worked for Barkley Construction as their bookkeeper and was a member of First Methodist Church in Union City. Mrs. Jenny enjoyed painting and gardening, and was a member of Northwest Tennessee Master Gardeners.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ken Courtright; her daughter, Carey Turner and her husband, Sam, of Antioch; her son, Kevin Courtright of Martin; four grandchildren, Kayla Courtright (Zeke Hall) of Greenfield, Cady Wheeler and Lilly and Layton Courtright of Martin; two great-grandchildren, Parker and Emma Bryant, both of Greenfield; her uncles, Joe (Judy) Clem of Eads and Norman Maynard of Martin; her sister-in-law, Patsy Courtright of Memphis; her brother-in-law, Scotty (Peggy) Court-right of Martin; her beloved dogs, Rosie and Bea; and several cousins.
