Rosemary Norman
Rosemary Norman, 72, of Kenton passed away 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Graveside services were conducted 1:30 p.m. Friday at Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy. Brother Gary Crawford officiated.
Pallbearers were John Davis, Paul Allman, Jacob Crawford, Russell Hilton, Mike Clark and Justin Tubbs.
There was no visitation and friends were asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Rosemary was born Dec. 2, 1951, in Elbridge, daughter of the late Ralph “Billy” Norman Sr. and the late Rosa Lee (Edwards) Norman. She retired as a correctional officer at West Tennessee State Penitentiary at Fort Pillow and was of the Baptist faith. Rosemary’s greatest love was her family members.
She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jean Bumpus and husband, James Earl, of Troy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph “Buddy” Norman Jr. and wife, Cynthia, and David Lee Norman and wife, Rebecca, all of Troy; five nieces and nephews, Jeanette Davis, Dean Norman and Dawn Crawford, all of Troy, Jamie Bumpus of Knoxville and Melissa Johnson of Union City; 10 great-nieces and nephews, Jennifer Allman and Kailyn Crawford, both of Troy, Amelia Bumpus and RJ Bumpus, both of Knoxville, Landon Norman, Madeline Norman and Jacob Crawford, all of Obion, and Andy Johnson, Emily Johnson and Zach Johnson, all of Union City; and three great-great-nieces and nephew, Connor Cooley of Troy and Briella Crawford and Ansley Crawford, both of Obion.
She was also preceded in death by one niece, Jessica Bumpus.
