Shirley Reese

Shirley Ann Reese, age 86, of Union City passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. Eddie Mallonee officiating. Burial followed in East View Cemetery. Visitation began Friday at 10 a.m. and ran until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Scott Gilliam, Ben Reese, Will Reese, Andrew Worrell, Heath Moody, Jason Furcron, Harrison Moody, Colton Moody, Wes Worrell and Ryder Worrell. 
Mrs. Reese was born in Union City on Aug. 29, 1937, to the late George Millington Easley and the late Frances Isora Browder Easley. She married Mr. William Edward “Red” Reese on Dec. 17, 1955. He survives.
She was a 1955 graduate of Union City High School and worked as an accountant for Union City Electric Company for many years.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Reese is survived by her son, Ed Reese and his wife, Rosemary, of Union City; her daughter, Marilyn Gilliam and her husband, Scott, of Union City; seven grandchildren, Amy Moody (Heath), Katie Worrell (Andrew), Ben Reese (Lauren), Will Reese (Melissa), Sarah Furcron (Jason), Scotty Gilliam (Kristen) and Sara Fitzpatrick (Ryan); nine great-grandchildren, Gracie Worrell, Harrison Moody, Wes Worrell, Colton Moody, Ryder Worrell, Hayden Moody, Liam Reese, Wells Reese and Wirth Reese; one sister, Gwen Stamm (John) of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Ray, James and Bill Easley.
