Ann Boaz
Mrs. Ann Lawson Boaz, age 72, of South Fulton passed away Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
She was born in Fulton on Oct. 9, 1950, to the late James A. Lawson and Helen (Youree) Lawson.
Ann was the owner and operator of Miss Ann’s Daycare and enjoyed watching Kentucky Basketball.
She is survived by her husband, Phil Boaz, whom she married Feb. 16, 1974; a daughter, Amy Bellamy (Jared) of South Fulton; a son, Jimmy Boaz (Alissa) of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Avery Boaz of Murfreesboro, Abagail Bellamy of South Fulton and Sophia Boaz of Murfreesboro; and by her daycare family.
Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
Hornbeak Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements. There was no visitation held at the funeral home.
