Man found in possession of stolen vehicle in Martin

On Dec. 18 at 11:57 a.m., Deputy Benjamin Sumner with Weakley County Sheriff’s Department made contact with Martin resident O’Brian Sowell on the corner of Old Salem Road and King Road in Martin, who was in possession of a 1998 red Ford F150.

After speaking with a woman who followed the vehicle from the property, it was determined that Sowell was in possession of a stolen vehicle out of Fulton, KY.

Fulton Police Department was contacted and advised that they would have charges for the theft of the vehicle out of their jurisdiction.

Sowell is being charged with possession of stolen property.
