HAPPY HOLIDAY — Union City Police Department officer Jamie Hall shared a smile with a young shopper as they participated in the successful second annual Shop With a Cop event Saturday morning at Walmart Supercenter in Union City. He was among officers from five local agencies who took 101 children Christmas shopping for clothing and toys, while also giving the kids a positive experience and building relationships. The youngsters in need were chosen from Obion County and Union City elementary schools, while funding for the effort was donated by the community in recent months. Among the agencies which had officers volunteer Saturday were the Union City, South Fulton and Kenton police departments, Obion County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol. Many officers’ spouses also helped, among them Hall’s wife, Tiffany.
