Greenfield man arrested on multiple charges in Martin

On Nov. 8 at approximately 5:38 p.m. Patrolman Demarchio Lee of Martin Police Department was dispatched to the area of 60 Lakeview Circle in reference to shots fired.

Through the investigation it was determined that the defendant, 40-year-old Shane C. Courtney pointed a firearm in the direction of the victim and fired a single shot putting the victim in imminent danger of death.

Courtney intentionally displayed a deadly weapon and through further investigation it was determined thar Courtney was advised of the criminal trespass on Nov. 20, 2001 yet remained on the property without the owner’s consent after being advised of the previous criminal trespass.

Courtney was charged with reckless endangerment (serious injury or use of a deadly weapon), aggravated assault and criminal trespass.
