PRIDE REMEMBERED — Fall Fest Pride of Obion County luncheon co-chairman Alicia Petty (left) presented Sidney Chappell with a plaque Wednesday honoring his late wife, Deanna Chappell, as Pride of Obion County. Mrs. Chappell was named Pride in August but succumbed to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) on Oct. 2, just three days before the luncheon. The former educator and former Troy mayor was diagnosed with the disease in 2020.
