TOP LAMB

TOP LAMB — Kendall Crabtree, daughter of Jason and Marla Crabtree of South Fulton, showed the Grand Champion lamb during Tuesday night’s Junior Market Livestock Sale. The lamb, which weighed 137.74 pounds, was bought for $16 per pound or $2,203.84 by Commercial Bank, Republic Services, Obion Farmers Co-op, Clay Sydnor Crop Insurance and AgQuip Farm & Well Services. Representing the buyers were (from left) Jason Craig of AgQuip; Landon Bragg and his grandfather, Dave Bragg, of Republic Services; Deven McBride of Commercial Bank; Miss Crabtree; and Seth McDaniel of Obion Farmers Co-Op. The auction was held in conjunction with the Obion County Fair in the Hunter Miller Livestock Barn.
