HONORING LOCAL VETERANS — Jones-Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 commander Chester Crone (from left) and auxiliary president Pamela Crone and vice president Sheila Fortner went through a stack of photographs from post events to find the best ones to include in a display at the Obion County Public Library recently. The display shows examples of what the local post does for the community and the veterans it serves. Among the post’s many activities are contests for students and teachers and community gatherings at Easter and Christmas.
