Thelbert Ogden

Thelbert Ogden, 89, of Union City died June 19, 2021, at his son’s residence.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. The Rev. George Moore will officiate.
Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Edwards, Mason Edwards, Justin Ogden, Gavyn Ogden, Noah Ramsey, Joe Ogden and Matt Pflueger.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born on Aug. 22, 1931, in Hickman, Ky., to the late Finis and Vera Mae (Howard) Ogden.
He worked in maintenance for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. On July 7, 1953, he married Norma Dean Green. She passed away Jan. 7, 2018.
He was a member of the Perfect Faith Tabernacle in Troy.

He is survived by two daughters, Becky (Ralph) Edwards of Union City and Sarah (Danny) Virgin of Sedalia, Ky.; four sons, Lynn (Pat) Ogden of Union City, Phillip (Ginger) Ogden of Union City, Nathaniel (Sherri Tucker) Ogden of Union City and David (DeAnna) Ogden of Union City; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Berneice Long of Buchanan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Terry Ogden; 10 brothers and sisters; a granddaughter, Abby Woods; and a great-granddaughter, McKenna Lee Ogden.
