Surgeon Dr. Wright Jernigan — a Union City native — has relocated his clinic to 1205 Russell St. in Union City.
Jernigan Surgery Clinic is owned by Jernigan and his wife, Samantha.
Dr. Jernigan, a general and vascular surgeon, initially opened his practice in Union City in August 2006.
Minor procedures are performed in his office, while most surgeries are done at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City or the Surgery Center. At the office, Dr. Jernigan also treats spider veins and varicose veins.
In addition to Dr. Jernigan, the clinic staff includes licensed practical nurse Heidi Bennett and Katelin Turner.
The office is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
