Wilma Wayne Kilgore The Messenger. 12.07.07 Completed arrangements are being announced for Wilma Wayne Kilgore, 80, of Martin, who died Dec. 6, 2007, at VanAyer Manor Nursing Home in Martin. He was the brother of Jane Parrish of Union City. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with the Rev. Tommy Jowers officiating. Burial will follow there in East Side Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews: Wesley Parrish, Kelvin Parrish, John Horne, David Kail, Brian Dwyer, Bill Benjamin and Cameron Kail. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today. He was born Dec. 17, 1926, in Weakley County, son of the late Wayne and Essie Mae (Wilson) Kilgore. He lived in the Hyndsver community most of his life. He was a retired farmer, who had worked with his father from an early age, and was a lifelong member of the former Ralston United Methodist Church and was the last attending member when the church closed a few years ago. Survivors also include his brother-in-law, Ottis Parrish of Union City, and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Freeman and June Horne. |
