Email users beware of phishing scams

All Frontier users are encouraged to be on the lookout for a new phishing email recently discovered circulating around inboxes.
The email began appearing in inboxes late last week and appears to now be widespread in the area. The postmaster for Frontier has been made aware of the email and has blocked customers’ ability to reply to it; however, there may be a few that got through during the early afternoon before the email was caught and contained.
The questionable email reads:
Dear Web mail user,
Due to congestion in all Frontier web mail users accounts, Frontier Communications would be shutting down some unused web mail account. In order to avoid the deactivation of your web mail account, you will have to confirm that it is a present use account by clicking the secure link below. The personal information requested is for the safety of your account. Please leave all information requested.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate in contacting the Frontier Internet Help Desk. You can contact Frontier by email, support@frontier.com or call 800-239-4430.
