Judy Shaw
Ms. Judy Shaw, 82, of Union City passed away 1:03 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Diversicare of Martin.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Michael Turner and Susan Coats will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley Cemetery near Union City with Brother Greg Lassett officiating.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Sanford, Dustin Sanford, Michael Turner, Bobby Rankin, Rudy Coats and Rick Stacks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Capps and Bobby Boyd.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Judy was born April 16, 1944, in Obion County, daughter of the late Horace and Lola (Walker) Ford. She worked for the former First State Bank for 26 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter, Angela (Frankie) Sanford of Kenton; two grandchildren, Dustin (Niki) Sanford of Spring Hill and Megan Sanford of Kenton; four great-grandchildren, Maci Sanford, Andrew Upton and Knox Sanford, all of Spring Hill, and Rivy Sanford of Kenton; her companion, Ray Swift of Union City; and her bonus daughter, Gail Qualls of Kenton.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Sybil Turner, June Tidwell, Elizabeth Isbell and Jean Dickerson; and one brother, Bobby Ford.
