CELEBRATING A CENTURY OF LOVE — Dorothy McKelvy (left) of Dyersburg, daughter of the late Vernedia Gingery (right) and mother of Debra Craig (not pictured) of Union City, was part of the joyous celebration of Mrs. Gingery’s century of life and love. The party was held in 2023 to mark her birth 100 years prior on Jan. 23, 1923. Both Mrs. McKelvy (standing) and her mother blessed their family with food that nourished multiple parts of their lives, because it was prepared with love.
