Richard Casey
Richard “Bassman” Dale Casey, 52, a resident of Union City, died Jan. 8, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at 1 p.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Rev. Justin Hiens will be officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Casey was born on July 3, 1973, in Union City to Kenneth Dale and Lula Ann (Burt) Casey. He worked as a Supervisor for Tyson Foods. On Sept. 22, 2005, he married Cassie (Guy) Casey.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
The family requests memorials be sent to Hometown Walk of Hope.
He is survived by his wife, Cassie of Union City; a daughter, Alexis Casey of Dyersburg; sister, Cindy (Trevor) Thralls of Union City; niece, Jessica (Dave) Beck of Omaha, Neb.; and three nephews, Jacob (Katie) Thralls of Pipapillio, Neb.; Will (Megan) Thralls of Clarksville and Wyatt Thralls of Martin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dale Casey.
