Patti Hampton
Patti Marie Hampton, 70, of Union City passed away 5:07 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026.
Pallbearers will be Roy Poole, Richard Harris, Jeremy Tivis, Skyler Tivis, Daytona Puckett, Cole Gwaltney and Joey Tucker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robin Williams, Zach Williams and Randy Harris.
Patti was born July 3, 1955, in Union City, daughter of the late James Royce and Martha Jane (Tucker) Morris. She had been employed at the former Brown Shoe Company, had been a bartender at the former Eagles and secretary for Moss Rentals. Patti enjoyed weather watching and was a certified storm spotter. She enjoyed being “Mimi” to her grandchildren and architecture and art.
She is survived by her son, Don Townsend (Misty) of Union City; her daughter, Crystal Jones (Edward) of Union City; three grandchildren, Lynn Townsend, Cayanne Townsend and Caitlyn Jones, all of Union City; three sisters, Debi Morris, Sheri Islas and Christi Williams (Robin), all of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
