PACKING BUGGIES — Caleb Jones (center), 8-year-old son of Joshua and Amanda Jones of Martin, placed canned goods in a buggy for Jeff Roberson of South Fulton during Chimes for Charity basket packing Dec. 23 at Obion County Schools’ bus garage in Troy. Caleb and his brother, 9-year-old Micah, who was waiting to put canned goods in the next cart, are members of Trail Life Troop 55. Roberson was volunteering as a member of the Obion County Prevention Coalition. Volunteers packed baskets for some 300 families and delivered them on Christmas Eve. Chimes met its $40,000 goal this year and will be hosting activities throughout 2026 to raise money for next year’s event.
