‘SORT’ OF BUSY — Chimes for Charity board members Melanie Hill (left) and Rachael McKinney did a quick check of one of several loads of canned goods and other non-perishable items delivered Friday afternoon to Obion County Schools’ bus garage in Troy ahead of food basket sorting, packing and delivery. With the support of the community, Chimes plans to deliver 300 baskets to families and individuals in need across Obion County early Wednesday morning. Items donated through local collections were sorted today. The baskets will be packed Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. at the bus garage, located in Troy’s industrial park. Volunteers will be welcomed.
