HO-HO-HORNBEAK HELPER — Danny Ingle, 8-year-old son of Josh and Heather Ingle of Hornbeak, placed a wooden ornament on a newly-planted community Christmas tree during a decorating and lighting event Friday night at Hornbeak City Park on Glass Road. Residents were invited to come early to color wooden ornaments to either keep or place on the tree ahead of its official lighting. It was followed by the Hornbeak Christmas market Saturday at the town’s community center. Hornbeak’s next events will be Cookies with Santa on Dec. 13 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the community center, followed by a Christmas parade that same night at 7 along the town’s Main Street.
