FOR AREA ANGELS — Walmart Union City front end team lead Johnna Ragsdale (left) and store manager David Harris encourage local individuals, organizations and businesses to help provide Christmas for local children who are less fortunate. There are 79 “angels” whose names and wish lists are available on the Obion County Salvation Army Christmas tree, which is located in the customer service area of the local store. Those selecting a name should give their information to the clerk at the service desk, shop for the child, and return the wrapped gifts there no later than Dec. 8. A party for the children will be held Dec. 13.
