Linda Breeden

Linda Joyce Breeden, 84, of Union City gained her Heavenly wings on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the White Ranson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Keith Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery near Shawtown.
Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
Pallbearers are Kent Treece, Brad Treece, Larry Don Jones, Stacy Crosser, Jamin Barker, Melvin Dowell, Ricky Mangold’s, Gordon Fox and Wes Walker.
Honorary pallbearers are Harold Burton, Sherry Hopper and David and Brenda Morehead.
She was born Feb. 25, 1941, in Obion County to the late Ilar Nixon Touchstone and Correne Kirk Touchstone. She was a member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She retired from the Obion County Courthouse, where she worked in both the Circuit and General Sessions Court.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Breeden of Union City; one granddaughter, Lindsey (Jayson) Jackson of Union City; great-granddaughters, Emma and Ellie Jackson of Union City; niece, Kathy Farmer of Union City; and nephew, Danny Quinn of Troy, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Romana Pruett; and nephews Terry Quinn and Justin Norton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
