Gilbert Edgar
Mr. Gilbert Edgar, 66, a resident of Union City, died Sept. 16, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of cremation services.
Mr. Edgar was born on Oct. 12, 1958, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Harold Jaxon Edgar and Priscilla (Voisey) Edgar. He worked in a Steel Plant building ammunition boxes for several years.
Mr. Edgar is survived by two daughters, Renee Dillon and Crystal Edgar, both of Union City; two sons, Noble Simms of Colorado and Gilbert Edgar Jr. of Troy, Mo.; 15 grandchildren, Randy Edgar, Tim Vratney, Emily Vratney, Maddox Edgar, Gabriel Edgar, Oliver Edgar, Ricky Dillon, Levi Dillon, Brad Dillon, JoJo Dillon, Noble Simms, Ava Edgar, Mia O’Neal, Jaxon Busby and Jaxx Dillon; four brothers, Charles (Lisa) Madina, David (Curly) Edgar, Johnny (Sherry) Edgar and Donald Edgar; and two sisters, Effie Edgar and Margie Edgar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Jaxon Edgar and Priscilla Edgar; a daughter, Stephaine Edgar; and two brothers, Irvin Edgar and Billy Edgar.
