Together they raised their daughter, Laura Hooper Sechler, who brought him endless pride and joy. Charlie was blessed with a son-in-law, Spencer Sechler, who adored him and became as much a son as a friend. His greatest treasure was his grandson and namesake, Charles Todd “CT” Sechler, who lovingly called him Granddaddy. The two shared an unbreakable bond — best friends, partners in mischief and constant companions.

A retired truck driver, Charlie found joy in the open road. After retirement, he was thrilled to return to his passion by driving once again for Gantt Farms. Known for his strong work ethic and his big heart, Charlie never met a stranger and always left others with a smile.
Above all, Charlie was a great husband, an amazing father and the best grandfather. He loved teaching CT new things, sharing wisdom from his own life, and making memories that will be cherished forever. His family and friends will remember him for his humor, his kindness and his unconditional love for his family.
Charlie’s legacy of love will continue to live on in his family, who are forever grateful for the time they were blessed to share with him.
