Bobby Hill
Robert “Bobby” Donald Hill, age 91, of Union City passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at The Waters of Union City.
Graveside service was at 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Bro. Paul Cagle officiating. Visitation was Monday at White-Ranson Funeral Home from 10 a.m.-noon.
Pallbearers were Austin and Brett Baker, Jacob Roney, Jonathan and Jared Jonas and Robert Roey. Keith Roney, Lynn Elam, Amos Davis, David Taylor, Joe Brooker, Wayne Baker and Dwight Tittle served as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Hill was born in Alamo, Tenn., on March 27, 1934, to the late R.D. Hill and the late Florence Truman Hill. He married Wanda C. Davis Hill on Nov. 25, 1972. He ran Hill’s Hardware until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda C. Hill; son, Jimmy Dale Hill and his wife, Amanda, of Union City; three daughters, Deborah J. Roney of Greenfield, Robbie Dee Tittle and her husband, Dwight, of Grand Rivers, Ky., and Pat Baker of Union City; five grandchildren, Austin Baker, Brett Baker, Robert W. Roney, Michael Keith Roney and Derek Hill; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three step-children, Gerald “Bud” Jonas (Chip), Steve Jonas and Mike Jonas (Sunny); two step-grandchildren, Jonathan and Jared Jonas; and two nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Jo Hill; his son, Bobby Jo Hill; his grandson, Brian Lee Roney; and his sister, Lou Alice Robison.
