LOSING LAND — Leslie Whitesell (right) of Fulton showed Judy Green of South Fulton where the Whitesell family land is located in regard to construction plans for a redesign of the interchange at U.S. 45 East and U.S. 51 highways for I-69, outlined during a recent public meeting in the Twin Cities. Mrs. Whitesell said while the construction will not take the family’s house, land located east of Purchase Parkway will be affected. Prior to marrying into the family, she said the Whitesells’ property was divided by the construction of Purchase Parkway.
