Mike Freeman

Michael “Mike” Freeman, 72, of Iuka, Miss., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at his residence.

He was an avid crappie fisherman and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Mike was a family man and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. He was a Christian by faith and his giving nature was evident to everyone who met him.

He is survived by his wife, June Freeman; his children, Shea Freeman (Jocelyn), Dana Taylor (Tim), Jason Wallis and Joshua Wallis (Anthony); his grandchildren, Emily, Austin, Dylan, Olivia and Luke; his great-grandchildren, Zenna, Harper, Ethan, Tinley and Bentley; his siblings, Sammy Freeman and Debbie Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, O’Neal Freeman and Ruth Ann Sanders Wiley; and his siblings, Dickie Freeman and Tony Freeman.
