Thomas Bruce

Mr. Thomas Ray Bruce, age 78, of Dukedom passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at Hillview Nursing & Rehab in Dresden.

He was born in Fulton County, Ky., on Jan. 9, 1945, to the late Thomas Dayton Bruce and Martha Sue (King) Bruce.

He was a retired truck driver, farmer and a Master Beekeeper. He was a member of the Dresden Pentecostal Church and lived most of his life in this area.

Ray is survived by his son, Terry Ray (Ann) Bruce of Kaukauna, Wis.; two daughters, Jeanette Mary (Timothy) Pruett of Munford and Judith Ann (Brandon) Belew of Alcoa; and eight grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cashon Bruce, who passed away on Nov. 1, 2021; and a brother, Gene Paul Bruce.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom, with burial to follow in the Good Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
