FESTIVAL PLANNED — Planning is well under way for the 2023 edition of Obion County Fall Fest. Events will kick off with a downtown cookoff and feed on Oct. 14 and continue the following week with several events, culminating with Family Day on Oct. 21. There will be several new events this year. Pride of Obion County nominations are being accepted through Aug. 18. Among those making it all happen are board members (front, from left) Rachael McKinney, Zoe Disney, Sara Boyd, Nell Ray, Keisha Hooper, (back) Janice Del Valle, Dana Pruitt, Mandy Hinson, Carolina Conner, Katelyn Kelly and Penny Chesteen. Not pictured are board members Alicia Petty, Rick Larson, Rhonda Ritchie, Jenny Gillihan, Ashley Phillips, Olivia Riley, Angela Davis, Kevin Runions, Joe Key, Kayla Key, Lindsay Kohr, Ann Joiner and Rachel Graves. The executive board includes Mrs. Pruitt, executive director; Ms. Petty, president; Mrs. Hinson, vice president; and Mrs. Kelly, secretary.
